The TDS-1010H utilizes a hydraulic system to drive, raise and lower your trailer. The system includes a hydraulic cylinder for raising and lowering the tongue of the trailer, the two hydraulic wheel/track motors that can be operated independently for driving and maneuvering your trailer. The hydraulic system is powered by two 12V DC electric motor driven hydraulic pumps. The system is controlled by a detachable hand-held control module.
The 12V DC power source is normally one more deep cycle batteries or a generator. The number of batteries required will be determined by the size of the trailer and the operating parameters anticipated.
The TDS-2010H is designed to attach to the center of the front wall of the trailer via a four inch wide "C" channel or bracket. The "C" channel is the standard mounting location for conventional jacking devices on the most gooseneck and fifth wheel trailers.
