The TDS-1001E utilizes an electric system to drive, raise and lower your trailer. The system includes a electric motor for raising and lowering the tongue of the trailer, the two electric wheel motors that can be operated independently for driving and maneuvering your trailer. The electric system is powered by 12V DC electric motors. The system is controlled by a detachable hand-held control module.
The 12V DC power source is normally one more deep cycle batteries or a generator. The number of batteries required will be determined by the size of the trailer and the operating parameters anticipated.
The TDS-1001E model is designed to attach on a bumper-pull trailer application between the front trailer frames using brackets.
